| The report card is in! Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work® Day, is administered by the Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work Foundation and gives girls and boys a unique educational opportunity to learn first-hand how the “real world” works and to make valuable connections between theory and practice, the classroom and the world.
By expanding the four walls of the classroom into the corners of every conceivable workplace, students are able to integrate and apply their knowledge to great practical advantage. Some kids discover hidden talents during the day. Others change their minds about the kind of work they want to pursue. One thing’s for sure: As girls and boys recognize their abilities and give thought to their own future dreams, they more tangibly understand why their schoolwork matters!
